LEGAL WARRANTY NOTICE
The law grants a guarantee on the good that you buy or rent: it must be able to be used for its normal use for a reasonable period of time.
- for the use for which it is normally intended (article 37 of the Law);
- normal use for a reasonable period of time, which may vary depending on the price paid, the terms of the contract and the conditions of use (article 38 of the Law).
Here is what our Protection Plus plan includes:
Replacement with original parts: Keep the value of your item even if a part has to be replaced; it will be for an original part, to ensure perfect compatibility and better performance allowing you to keep the value of your item.
Authorized professional technician service: Confidently receive the professional services of an authorized technician specifically trained by the manufacturers.
Money back guarantee: If the performance of your item should be lower than your expectations, Domon will take it back in perfect condition by refunding the price paid for your item (excluding the fee from the Protection Plus plan) within 30 days of your purchase. This does not apply in the case of special orders or layaways.
Replacement warranty: If the performance of your item should be lower than your expectations, Domon will take it back in perfect condition by offering you an applicable credit (including the fees from the Protection Plus plan), with the purchase of a product of equal or greater value within 30 days of your purchase. This does not apply in the case of special orders or layaways. To justify the replacement of your item, the report of an authorized professional technician will be required.
In the case of a mattress, the period is extended to 90 days within your purchase as it may take a while for your body to adapt to a new mattress. The mattress cover has to be purchased from Domon at the same time as the mattress to qualify for the 90 days trial period. This does not apply in the case of special orders, layaways, a 39XL mattress or rolled mattresses.
Reimbursement for loss of food: Your Protection Plus plan provides a reimbursement up to 200$ per event for any deterioration of food due to a broken refrigerator or freezer.
Transferable upon resale: If you sell your item, your Protection Plus plan is transferable to the new owner, which significantly increases the resale value. No document to fill. Simply give a copy of your original sales contrat to the new owner.
Accessory coverage: Your Protection Plus plan provides for the coverage of accessories related to the operation of the household appliance (repair or replacement) which is in the original packaging of the manufacturer.
Guarantee of quality and operation: Domon will replace your household appliance if it requires a third repair for the same technical problem in a year.
Transferable in the event of theft: If an item covered by the Protection Plus plan is stolen during the first year of purchase and the replacement device is purchased from Domon, the unused portion of the plan will be transferred to the new device.
Service for old furniture or appliances: With the purchase of the Protection Plus plan, Domon will pick up your old merchandise for free.
Here is the duration of the Protection Plan for each category of products
- 5 years total for appliances
- 4 years total for LED Televisions
- 4 years total for furniture such as bedroom or dining room
- 3 years total for furniture such as living room in fabric, bycast or leather
Please note that the Protection Plus plan starts the day of the delivery of your item.
Domon Furniture undertakes to repair your device in the event of defects arising from normal conditions of use for domestic purposes within a radius of 100 kilometers from Montreal.
